This is a returns policy template. It may be used by online retailers wanting to offer consumers extra-statutory rights to return products.

The returns policy template is not designed for use in relation to B2B sales.

The policy sets out the circumstances in which products may be returned, and details the procedure that must be followed when returning a product. It also explains how refunds will be given, and what happens if a product return does not follow the required procedure.

We created this returns policy template for use in conjunction with our terms of sale for consumers. The terms of sale includes provisions relating to statutory rights of return (such as rights under the Distance Selling Regulations). Both documents are included in our online shop (consumers) pack.
