Web Design Terms and Conditions Q&A

Web Design Terms and Conditions Q&A

I am concerned that customers sometimes expect the sites I create to be compatible with web browsers (e.g. mobile browsers) that they were not designed for. Does this template help with this issue?

Under the warranties clause of this template, the customer gives and express acknowledgement that the website will be created to work with defined browser technologies, and that the designer gives no warranties that it will work with other browser technologies.

I sometimes supply clients with website T&Cs. Does this document protect me from any accusation that I am providing legal advice?

Unless you are legally qualified, you should not really be supplying clients with legal documents. This template does however include a clause under which the client acknowledges that the designer is not providing legal advice or giving any assurance that the site will not lead to legal problems.
