This is an adapted version of the general cleaning services T&Cs, with the special provisions relating to consumers removed. Whilst it has been created with office cleaning in mind, it can easily be adapted for use in relation to other purely commercial cleaning businesses.

This document is relatively detailed, with provisions covering the term of the engagement, the nature of the services, the customer's obligations in relation to the premises as well as more general customer obligations, equipment and consumables used in the course of the supply of the services, the appointment of party representatives and mechanisms for sending contractual notices, and much more.

Unlike most of our other cleaning T&Cs documents, this one anticipates that cleaning equipment and consumables may be provided by the customer. (This is in a special, optional clause which can be deleted if the equipment and consumables are supplied by the cleaning company.)

A draft statement of work is included with the document. This is where the variables applicable to each contract are defined: the customer's identity, the exact nature of the services and the premises where they will be provided, the agreed charges or applicable hourly rate, the minimum term, the details of the parties' representatives, and the address for sending contractual notices to the customer.
